Grazing on a development site
It’s hard to believe but just a few kilometres inland from the famous beaches of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast thousands of cattle are grazing on coastal pasture. The animals belong to Andrew Newcombe who’s leasing two big parcels of land from the developer Stocklands, which is creating the brand-new city of Aura, inland from Caloundra. Reporter Jennifer Nichols heads out to see how Andrew manages his herd in such an urban environment.
